The installation, titled "Congruities and Inequities," was designed and assembled by students from CSW's Art Text and Drawing III courses. Paying homage to contemporary conceptual artist Kara Walker, the project displays tarpaper silhouettes that boldly confront racial, economic and gender-based stereotypes.
